Before I knew you
In my dreams I saw you there
Ever waiting on the shore
I wasn't ready to receive you yet
Yet you stood there ever more
I saw your arms outstretched
In my heart
Your love for me was etched
Now the day has come
You and I are one
Thank you for your patience
And undying love
For you waited for me
And were ever gracious
