Loves Wound
pain lingers within loves wound
darkness echoes inside my lonely gloom
emotions blur as happiness fails
nothing left of me now that sadness prevails
ever more out of reach speeds the last glimmer of hope
at times sanity hides when unwilling to cope
how and why and what if tumble over again
some days are numb, nights, the nights just depend
heartache screams inside my darkened room
pain lingers deep within loves wound
