Love's War

Who wants to fly away from you?
You bind me to your soul
Who wants to live without you?
You buried me in you
Where will life go sailing far?
When your love can’t I escape.
What will a hope befriend my dreams?
If not your dreams stand by me.
My wish is fair for you and me
That I dwell in you that time can measure.

But whose war to me is coming strong
That I cannot stand with love
Whose disguise is coming true?
That I can change my love for you
Which line of history mark me weak
That love had ever lost her war
On the gallant steed of hope
My arms are winning wars of love.
