Love's Toll
Heaven lies within the heart of the soul,
Old and young can not escape its predilection.
None will know anything greater than love's toll.
Wise, past and present chase an impervious goal;
The formula to love's mysterious perfection.
Heaven lies within the heart of the soul.
All know its haunting hypnotic control,
Its magical and delightful ramification.
None will know anything greater than love's toll.
Moon, Earth and Sun all apart of love's charming whole;
All ingredients of love's baffling complication.
Heaven lies within the heart of the soul.
Even the stars far and beyond have a cameo in its role;
far too many fall for their romantic illumination.
None will know anything greater than love's toll.
As you can see my dear love takes self-control,
But when it come to you, mine is admiration.
Heaven lies within the heart of the soul.
None will know anything greater than love's toll.
