Love's Shadow
My love is so pure but y cant he see
He thinks he’s alone but he has me
He’s so used to being hurt that he doesn’t feel
His heart is numb so he don’t know what I feel is real
I reach out my hand but he turns it away
He thinks I’m wit them only 4 2nite only 4 2day
I asked God y do the ones who I care 4
Neva give me a chance 2 show them I’m here 4 them
I’ve gotten my heart broken by them n at the end of the day still there 4 them
I’m not mad because I’m n love n I put my heart on the line
Leaving it vulnerable 4 predators 2 prey
