Love's Shadow
A finely woven pattern
throws a delicate shadow of lace
across the sleeping bounty
of my lover's face
and as the sun shines through
the woven wicker chair
I see my dreams come true
in the love that slumbers there
for our love is as wonderous
as that woven shadow of lace
and I feel blessed beyond all words
to be shadowed by his grace.
