Loves Return

Fate has swept me upon this beach, Tossed from the surf of lover's breach, Wasting away with dull faded driftwood, Soaked in my tears and misunderstood. Sun beats mercilessly against my hide, Shipwrecked high upon life’s low tide, Withering to grey and brittle form, ‘Till my soul is no longer warm. Life resumes through tears, Wakened by nightmares, Waiting here silently, For love to return, To me. (c) 2015 PJ Bayliss
