Love's Reflection
I see the reflection
of love's waters
in her soft blue eyes.
I smile.
I stare ever deeper
and find my gaze afloat
on glistening pools
of passion.
My mind swims.
I fight against
the rushing
currents of her
raging soul.
Relinquishing
myself to its
undertow.
And I drown.
