Love's Pursuit

Eternally you tease my senses then astound my soul

Baroque, the language that tells the story of my search

Come my love, sit upon the veranda of my world

Safe in the shade of the umbrella of my desires

As I tell you the story of secret lovers

Whose fingertips almost touched

Souls almost connected

Of stolen encounters

Their raging battle with the storm of fate

Yet, created nothing more than a mere ripple in the ocean of love

That pales in the light of this romantic pursuit

From past life to present

I will eternally chase you
