Love's Preservatives

Like a cake Love’s icing Its coloring and sweetness The calories never mind Makes up the tastes In love The three letter word: I LOVE YOU Is a security and a pledge Sincerity sums up the totality Of relationship and companionship Mutual respect, constant communication And FAITH Despite some risks and challenges Staying together Bond is solid We have a love’s preservatives!

This is really cool. I can just see it on a jar label: preserved with love. Such a neat idea, Dalila!

A pleasure to read your poetry today Dalila. I will try to come back later this week to read more. I have a spring cold and not up to reading for too long. Have a wonderful week. Love, Carol
