Love's Picture

I tossed and turned
I couldn't stop thinking
About him

I opened and closed my eyes
I couldn't tell if I was dreaming
That he was here

I saw him clearly in my mind
I kept reaching out to touch him
Only just missing

I breathed unevenly
I felt my heart flutter
For him

I felt all of this
I knew he wasn't even there
What if he were?

I can't tell what it means
I dream about him day and night
He follows me

I can't focus on anything
I don't know what this feeling is
He is a mystery

I drift off to sleep
I see pictures fading
In and out

I know that they are telling a story
I know that it's about him-
Him and me

I see us walking hand in hand
I feel his warm touch
Exhilarating 

We are forever together
We can't leave each other's minds
We are in love
