Love's Last Ride

Blown away in the breeze, The train has just arrived. My babies gone with its wind. Where he is going, I’m not sure, Those wheels keep on rolling My baby further along as his Woman waits behind. Miles apart, so far away, Distance rolls down this line. The train will not stop carrying Him away, further from my door. Soft breezes disappear, the sky Screams to me becoming so loud. Night’s lights guide his way As she carries him from me. His desire, their love, the roaring engine Causes his memory to slip away, Leaving me and his life behind. Her whistle sings out his love for that train.
