Love's Illusion

Love's illusion
It was at first sight
That my heart had a fright
For never was there a knight
That made me feel so light
As you asked for the right
To be my beloved

Silence was my answer
For words I could not utter
As I begin to stutter
My mind in a clutter
Over the suprise
That was time wise

The words come to my mouth
Only for things to go south
As I wake up from my slumber
And find myself in an uber
Reality finally seeping in
That it was just a dream
