LOVE’S HOME
Love needs a home, one that feels safe and makes all its days bloom.
Love needs a home, one that is nice and smells like sweet apple pie.
Love was looking for its home, it searched and searched, it went to one place it looked good, it stepped inside and it smelled like something odd.
Love went to another place, it was cautious and took its time, it looked before it went in, it turned around and ran quick.
Love was feeling down, it was looking like no home was going to appear.
Love felt in its heart, that somewhere out there was home, it made a plan to keep on searching for the love home of dreams.
Love knew of the home, it was felt, but could not be found.
Love felt the warm of the home; it was near yet so far.
Lifting prayers to God, today and always.
