Notes About The Poem

Author's Notes: "Love's End," as a specialty poem in this instance, describes painful aspects when love is at its end point. This is another Shadorma poem with a six-line stanza that I wrote as a companion write to an earlier poem I released under the title of "Love's Power." The syllabication count for this poem is 3/5/3/3/7/5 for a total of 26 syllables. Enjoy the read!! It's a sad one--unfortunately. (Gary Bateman - September 24, 2018) (Shadorma)

Thematic Categories: angst, depression, emotions, grief, heartbroken, hurt, and lost love.

Love's End

Love’s End

It’s tragic

stabs the heart deeply—

spirit lost

passion gone

without any true purpose

heartbreak unending

Yes, so so true is your writing. I noticed that you write from your heart. Giving the reader to think of what you wrote in all your poems, and then they take what is beautiful advice from you, and send away negative thoughts. Before i leave here, i used to read some of your poems, and it affected my life when i disappeared for nearly 2 years. Love Terry xoxo

Hello Terry!! Many Thanks for your very gracious comments here. Yes, I do tend to write many of my poems in a way in which I am attempting to communicate with each reader, at least at some level. Each reader, as with each poet, may view things differently -- which is natural. I am very glad to hear that you enjoy a number of my poems. Always a great pleasure to hear from you!! Cheers and Best, Gary

The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion when is gone is, is gone... I feel for you...

Thanks Pashang!! Thanks for your read and comment here. There is certain truth, of course, to what you say here concerning my latest write. (I wrote this one strictly from a literary observation standpoint.) Fortunately for me, it's not autobiographical. Cheers and Best Always, Gary
