Love's Elegy

Dark nights shrouded a woeful face
Everywhere is obscure
Succumb the life in oblivion
Kneel on the floor and mourn
Footsteps of the memory linger
Dirge played in solitude
Weeping out loud in isolation
Shed tears of countless drops
Misty-eyed was wounded on the soul
Words of comfort vanished
Lies are thousand miles away from truth
Confusing state laments
Loneliness is a silent killer
Wild world in commotion

Your poem that is being featured does not take the form of a sonnet. The only thing in common with a sonnet is the fourteen verses. This critique is meant to enhance your knowledge about sonnet form, not to criticize your poetic abilities.
