Love's Bridge
I will meet you on the bridge of our heart
And look into your eyes of love sweetheart
We'll drift away in a world apart
Where your love and mine never part
And our days of loneliness depart
To lay in dawn from night, where love has slept
And look into your eyes of love sweetheart
To find a lighted lantern's glow of secrets kept
This lover's gift we will always retain
And never let joy in our eyes know pain
The length of days now our greatest bane
To hold each other's hand, to never wane
Through all the sunlit days and stormy rain
Our souls bond in dreams that will not sleep

This jewel of love is all the wealth we'll keep
We'll build a bridge heart to heart unafraid
With our trust and honesty that will not fade
There is no truth that's told we will evade
Nor argument we need our minds to persuade
When we sing love's passionate serenade
And free the loneliness we've held within
With our trust and honesty that will not fade
To share our heart's gift and love again
We'll meet on the bridge built with a lover's glow
