Lovers Over Time
Fire ignites in the body.
Pleasures that transcend life within life
and create tremors in the soul.
A kiss on the lips, honey drips.
Bodies entangled in embrace so tight.
Everything so right.
In euphoric ecstasy
in the presence of abiding love
in a tale where words cannot be used or be told.
A mystery to behold.
A look, a loving gaze.
Sometimes easing a heavy mind,
while a surfacing revelation
addresses all bound by time.
Love, an affirmation of existence.
Lovers in need of each other's arms.
Heartbeats still desiring to beat as one
for forever
or at least until the end of tomorrow's time.
Now entangled in altered complexities of love
while looking for a glimpse of the divine.
