Lover's In Love
It took us both a lifetime to come together
With two forces drifting out in the night
A brief excursion will bring things to light
When I look deep into her eyes I can see a future
A future filled with love & hope for a better tomorrow
Amidst the sadness faint of heart & sorrow
With long lines drifting out in the sand
We have come united with an unbelievable plan
A vase decor next to the open door looked cracked
After close observation there was a note attached
It read spring into love marked on a blotted page intact
Working so hard can give anyone an instant heart attack
Through sullen lies can't we see the soft reply
Lover's in love a new way to discover
We have joined hands with one another
Walk with me through the park on a cool brisk afternoon
A scent so close to me with the aroma of her wonderful perfume
The ring that I placed in her hand with tender care
A beautiful array of flowers with soft angelic hair
The average novice would never be content with this romantic scene
Lover's in love through the tender moments we will treasure in our hearts
You lit the flame that ignited the inner spark to what I was waiting for
Forever we will stick together amidst a cruel world we will deliver
Sent a shiver down the spine with no regrets but tender love in care
