Lover's Complaint

Your long term plans, I have not seen ‘em.
And all those love vows, you don't mean ‘em.
You have only got eyes
for my long limber thighs,
and that small bit that lies between ‘em.

                                                                 09/26/11

Sounds like the fire is needing to be lit! Just hope it stays under control. This one is just clever and I love it.

heehee, what made you want to do this one, John? Self denigration works well in a limerick! and the limber thighs sounds great!! What do you mean adapted from a limerick by poet unknown? did you redo some other limerick? Was this in a contest? I am being so nosy tonight. I better move along!!!

I love limericks and I did borrow from an old, well worn one; who knows who wrote it, but I love it. At my age I'm not so much over hormoned as amused by sex. No, I've not quit and, no, no contest. Just fun.
