Lovers

Poetry is something which comes when you least expect it to.
Much like a new friend?
Every second as it ticks away something new comes our way.
We never seek it we never find. But it’s always there lurking in our mind.
Poetry in motion.
Is a sort of love potion? Don’t you find as we move in time.
And as time flows we learn how in our minds we compose.
Our lives are like a melody! Sometimes slow sometimes,
fast always the best ones we wish they would last.
And even when sad, we try to move forward.
But there’s always some obstacle in our way,
So we move around it we learn to stray,
not from the path, no just from a lover
and when we lose them we feel a shudder!
We have lost all of our heart and it tears us apart.
I love you I always will,
Your kisses always make me alive, You are like no other!
But time will tell and minds must ponder, Will it won’t it work?
Our minds always wonder.
“To be or not to be” One famous person said.
Even those words make us feel dread.
But try we must and try We will!
Nothing lost, nothing gained! Even if it ends in pain.
For to love is so sweet from the moment we meet!
To the end of our days when we do something wrong we try to amend.
But even then it sometimes is too late to alter our ways
to be better to be bold.
But a lot of times we won’t be told!
If you want the best you won’t find it at first.
When the one comes along your heart flutters to their beat,
you love their soul from their head to their feet.
Their kisses are like warm fire you feel the heat inside!
Being with them makes you feel such pride.
To be loved is so tender! It makes you feel good, holding them close.
Is something which should make you always feel special,
To smell their perfume and when they light up the room.
With their beauty and presence is a sight to behold!
To laugh in the rain to play in the snow and always together your love just grows.
I take you in my arms, I feel your heart beat.. I look into your eyes,
I see your passion. My body shudders at your touch of my skin.
I want to feel you close always, not to do so would be such a sin.
Running my fingers through your hair it feels soft it is a colour so fair.
I put my lips to your lips I feel the electric charge of your spirit.
As you take a deep breath and hold me there.
You take my hand and lead me to your room and talk softly you tell me.
My love you will not be going home too soon.

If you ever write a poem for me, please write the moon and sun, with unicorns and pianos. If you can pull that off, I'd become your biggest poetry soup fan in a heartbeat. Anyways, I'm just saying, regarding your comment on the bottom. Hugs. LINDA
