Lover Who Is Forever Nameless

I shall never give you a name
nor shall I express my desires..
It's like a myth with a tale nor
a story to follow.
Yet I wonder if you know? I
wonder if you have the
slightest hint of my affection?
Probably not.
Your probably never going to
read this or even take notice of
my empty request.

Thus I sit here on an empty
beach waiting for nobody to
notice me.
Instead jealous eyes of "forget
me nots" follow my ever move
as if to mock the meaning of
heaven themselves.
I am tired of this... I am tired
of playing this mindless game.

I should probably stop writing
into the sky now for the stars
have already left me alone.
Alone in the back seat of a
memory soon forgotten along
with old houses and students
pretending to know adult life.

Love do you know who you
are?
Do you know your name?
I'm talking to you.

Save me.
