Lover Man
the only time he called her
was when the songs were old and the bottle
of Bourbon was new.
he always missed her deeply,
he even apologized for breaking
her jaw.
now,he has a son who hates him
and a ex wife who has moved on.
all the songs are gone
and the Bourbon is empty.
