Lover

Lover you hold me in my darkest hours
you consume me drain me for my powers
take me over and make me yours
you love it touches it cures

I dreamed of someone like you all my life
However I never wanted to be your wife
Just your lover you companion your friend
But now the ride has came to a end

You want to own me keep me by your side
I can't go there no matter how I try
Yes I do love you and want you with me
But I have fought so hard to be set free

Can you hear the tears that I cry
When you leave me to go and fly high
I can't go back there even if I could
you would not want me even if I should
