Lover

As weakening as the sleep paralysis You creep in unexpectedly Making me weak everytime Your words makes everything seem superfluous Making me think I've not been alive till now Your sweet tongue tames me Your sultry eyes ignites a fire in my heart Making my heart soft as the fur of a chinchilla Sending shivers down my spine everytime Your love rubs off on me One could swear it's notoriously contagious Because I've learnt from you How to be a sweetheart

Thanks for sharing this. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God bless you.
