Lovely Visions

Lovely visions flow through my head
memories of green, yellow, orange and red.
Pictures of autumn, I can see them quite clear
it is always so beautiful this time of year.

From the top of this hill I can see far and wide,
an ocean of colors reaching up to the sky.
The wind is so cool; there is a chill in the air,
it soon will be clear that winter is here.

The dense heavy fog, the frost on the ground
the grass now crackles when we walk around.
All of the children bundled from head to toe
hoping and praying that soon it will snow.

Logs burn in the fireplace so warm and bright,
It fills our hearts with happiness and delight.
These lovely visions flow through my head,
beautiful memories of green, yellow, orange and red.
