Lovely Sound

I love the joyous sound
of the merry-go-round
sometimes I stare down
at the moving ground
my heart goes pound 
I’m the happiest in town 
when it goes around 
on it, I can’t be found
I notice it and start to mound 
my safe place don't hound
don’t make fun or clown
me and that ride are bound
cause I love the sound
of the sweet merry-go-round
