lovely little winter bird
Lovely little winter bird
Sitting still, not a word
Pastel pink and baby blue
Stark white glittering off of you
You have brought delight to this winter day
I see you and want to yell “hooray!”
Your beauty gives me comfort when I think.
The spring will return so you can take a drink.
