Lovely

My lovely girl I dearest hold
With no one in my heart more fair
When you speak music thrills my soul
And magic dances in the air

I stroke my fingers 'cross your face
And gaze at eyes I've never seen
For you share not with me this place
But are instead within my dreams

And every time my arms you leave
I wake a-shudder with a sigh
Sad but determined to believe
My lovely dream is not a lie
