Loveliness of Buds
L ight of evening arrives on its accord
O pening a mantle for spring’s preview…
V ast the earth toned in rose-white, and though
E ver cold, I roam the garden to admire
L ittle buds waking on dewy mist, while
I llumined stars flame against a pale sky.
N owhere can grandeur find pure beauty when
E ach quiver, each throb of blooms enthralls my
S pirit, to restore an inner glow that whirls,
S haping their arms, my arms… birth of night’s florets!
