Loveliness
Lying beneath the parasol we listened as the rains stormed the castle,
Obstructing our beach date behind bastions of fog and shadowy palls;
Voluptuous curtains of crimson covered your lips as you drew in close,
Eloquently reminding me that I was, at this moment, the luckiest man;
Loving your dulcet laughter was when I knew, your vivacity won the day,
It drowned out the rains and detangled the nervous jitters of a boy-man;
Never allowing me to forget that this might be the beginning of my Life,
Ever easy to recall --the ever-clever jokes I told you, one after another,
So intoxicated with your happiness that I forgot to check on my smile,
Still there to this day, every morning that I wake next to you, my Love.
