Lovelier Than a Rose

Oh lovely rose song
Pressed in that book for so long
Music can't be wrong

Memories that stay
always recurring array
Learning how to pray

Thoughts engraved so deep
Everlasting pure, keep
Reminding of love

Oh that lovely rose
Pressed in that book that was closed
She lovingly chose

Memories that say
True love won't take her away
Momma I miss you

A lovely, touching tribute poem. I know what it is like to lose a mother--mine died when she was aged just 48. Thanks for reading my stuff, and for your gracious comments. Regards, Robert.

I love this one, its amazing how a mother can change the world, no matter good or bad a mothers a mother. I have 3 children which are almost all grown with many mistakes of their own, as I read your write it makes me feel good because the love of a child is so heavenly pure no matter how old we get... :)))
