Love Yours
My intentions were pure, did I not strip them naked before you
I wasn’t afraid to say that I loved you, it didn’t make me less of a man
Not known to draw first, but this time I felt my grip itchy
Your troubles my own, my troubles on hold
There lurks some magic in love, a price to pay for its conjuring
Tuff girls will break a street cat, it don’t matter that u land on your feet
We pay the price for those before us, and those on tag have theirs sealed
A pot can only break once, but your heart will grow cold feet
It’s all a circle but we can remould the tale, learn from the ruins of war
Love deeply and expect the same, stay loyal and earn fealty
Because all dogs were once noble men and sluts fair maidens
