Love Your Tia Martha

Love Your Tia Martha

Here I stand asking why
Why her? Someone so special like a mother
Always there to pick you up
Life wasn’t easy for her
Fixed on independence
We never knew the truth
How much pain she was in
Her body consumed by the effects
But a smile she wore everyday
Gone so soon no answer why
We knew she was strong
But it was stronger
Took her away I’ve never felt so much hurt
I still question why you called
But i know she will be right there with us
Everyday with wings of love
Way up there flying around
Still claiming to this day no need to worry about me
For I am free from the weight of this disease
Carry on with out me but I will always be here guiding you on
Forever family love as strong
In heaven I wait and I shall see you all again
Love your Tia Martha.
