Love Yee One Another

With the crash of a tide as it reached the shore
He gained an understanding that the earth was for war
Then went the love for the earth that he could no more feel
What was going on became really real
All that He asked of us was to give him our love
But some how someway that love was divided and corrupt
As He gracefully watched over us from the heavens above
He was implementing His plans to show us His great love
Given a few rules for which we should follow
But the real issue was that rules were really hollow
The earth is a gift not for us to swallow
Nor is it a paradise for pigs to wallow
Those with cold hearts could never follow the rules
There is only one rule and it is as golden as the sun is bright
And with a loveless greed they multiplied like fools
As He watched Him do nothing His Spirit was moved
And He streached out His hand and his work began
To do a little something
He walked with man and told him His plans
But the details He always left lacking
Angery and frustrated man will always be
Until they learn to wholly trust Me
