Love Wrapped Around a Tree

She walked into the room
smiled
and saw the doom

He stood in the diner
yes!
He couldn't have been kinder

Twisted and torn
she ran to the nearby tree

He peeked around
and wrapped his arms
bound
and wrapped them around the tree

She laughed
she cried
she forgave

The tree of love
from above
sent her
love
