Love Was Blown Away
A summer breeze blew love their way
With sweet caresses their passion grew
Eventide brought lavender skies, as waves
kissed expectant shores, sunset
painted brilliant hues
In silhouettes they strolled along
As they watched the moon arise
Soon they paused to share a kiss
summer love 'neath moonlit skies
autumn plucked the leaves
from summer's grasp, and summer
love was blown away
love's brief season in the sun
sails away on autumn winds
