Love Was

Pouring my heart out have a drink; Love is what I need when I'm sober, Drunk off the words you was giving me, You open my eyes to beauty of a world i thought was over, Sitting back watching the flames rise, you give love a meaning when I was away, Many wonder where I'll be, here in the house you an I build, Giving my last cheers to hope, two years felt like yesterday, now I'm drinking to cope, demons around me telling me lies as the angels I give life went to hide, A broken heart on repeat, Lately everything seems fake, There's a war inside god decided it's fate, Love was a waterfall in the Paradise of your eyes, You drown me to know what it is to feel alive, You give me strength that I despise, Love was love when I open my eyes.
