Love Waits
The fool says,
"If I do not love I'll feel no pain.
I'll hide here
safe within my fear,
without hot breath
with that kiss of living death."
But Love says,
"I'm waiting until you're ready,
hungry for my pleasure
and strong for my pain.
until you're ready
to forgive and forget
and let me in again."
