Love Vibes
Heavy breathing
Puffing and panting
He gets up
Makes for the washroom
Messy self
After messy work
A tired smile
Passed at her
Love manifesting in
Matter of fact way
Pushes open the door
His sharp ears
Catch the faint beep
Walks back
Takes the phone
Enters....
Sound of shower
But he’s standing away
Swiping the screen
Reading.....
Face lights up
The stiff lips
Break into
A smile
He puts the phone away
Initial humming
Quickly changing
Into a Beatles' song
Every note
Quite distinct
And clear
'I want to hold your hand'
A joyous feeling
Amidst all
Lathering and rubbing
Love manifesting in
Not so
Matter of fact way.
