Love Untitled

You carried my heart in your pocket like loose change No regard for love just using me when it was convenient Sometimes you would even forget I was there But the sound of glass shattering and the faint whisper of freedom yearning for wings Would jog your memory As the melody of my heartbeat would caress your ears You threw me around where ever you pleased and placed me in anywhere to be left behind Only thinking of me when you found me where you last left me Treating my heart like a good luck charm, something less than the precious life I had You carried my heart in your pocket so I decided to leave it behind Because you broke my heart beyond repair and I needed to learn how to love myself all over again p.s. I’m rebuilding me so I can love again…
