Love Uncorrupt

Love divine uncorrupt how for thee I do yearn,
For without are skanks, thiefs, and many a whoremonger,
Who birthed from the pits of hell drag many an angel down.
Shall I die alone ere I find that one pure love,
Since I refuse to rot in this debauchery
That drowns our waking days in a hopeless darkness
That leads many astray from seeking love sincere
And attempts in the dark to replace love with lust?
Whether I wait for love or join the debauched world,
A lone death are my odds, though strong I feel hope nigh
That my love I shall meet, together fore'er be.
