Love To Me

Like birds, they fly away
Like coins, be flipping when tossed
Like love, it ends

I chase you
Every step that I take
You turned me down and walk away
I couldn't touch your heart at all

I showed you my real self
Must you look away?
It hurt me
Like I've been shot by a bullet

We were wonderful
Together we created something beautiful
It wasn't a big deal
But it gives you the reason to end it

Should I close my eyes?
And pretend that it was just a dream?
Like a sad movie
Under this pine tree
Standing alone hoping the colds could make me forget everything
