Love They Made
Once they met he can't forget
their passion burned so brightly.
As he recalls the love they made
when they made love almost nightly.
Fear began to make it's way
it seems he lost control.
Then one night he shared with her
what's on his heart and soul.
The love with which you loved me
that you loved me with before.
Seems to be that I can't see,
don't you love me anymore?
She said her love for him has changed
that it's grown even deeper.
But a woman needs more than that
from the man that hopes to keep her.
A flower sometimes or a note
and love not made in bed.
Sometimes when you're a woman
you need held instead.
Now he holds her all the time
not like right from the start.
Insecurity has fled
and he holds her with his heart.
