Love Takes Flight
I am at the highest summit
And never want to plumit
Down the high depths of this love
Where you take me up above
With an inner warmth and glow
From the real world below
You make me feel strong and free
From all the insanity
That life piles at our door
But you give me strength to soar
To a different time and place
Wrapped up in your arms so safe
My daily troubles are all finished
My misery has been diminished
Every time I look and find
The twinkle in your big blue eyes
I hope nothing will ever crush
The certainty of this great rush
I feel when you are so near
Please don’t ever disappear
