Love Shared By Two

Something wonderful, something true That’s what I’ve found by loving you Feelings inside me continue to grow I’ll do my best to let those feelings show A quiet moment, I stop and stare Thinking to myself, “what feelings do we share?” I think of the days when we first began All of the times we’d hold each other’s hand The times of laughter, the times of tears Nights I laid awake, my heart in fear How I’d long for the next time we’d meet With those feelings of excitement, nothing could compete Thoughts of the future soon came into play I wondered, would we really be together someday? Many differences we’ve had to overcome We’ve managed most and set aside some In a short time, we’ve become quite close There seems to be a future for us, but who really knows?
