Love Search
i know everybody wants to be happy one day or the other
but sometimes i wonder when my happiness will come
i have tried to find happiness in past relationships
but honestly because of previous results i wish i didn't try none
to be honest before you seek happiness in someone else in life
try to satisfy yourself because your happiness comes first
i have seen persons invest their everything into relationships
and in the end the pain they feel is like your heart is about to burst
love is a feeling that should always make you happy and not sad
don't be confused at times i admit that you will both disagree
but the minute your partner seeks nothing but perfection from you
be minded they will seek another so suggestion set yourself free
when you meet someone don't just open up and let everything out
the songwriter said " take time to know her its not an overnight thing
i have experienced this first hand for myself from my past encounters
so songwriter i guess you are right and its really my time to sing
i dream one day of meeting a woman i could later take as my wife
so i can get my kids and probably a house with a white picket fence
but i have given settling down a try and it had caused me so much pain
so if i decide to never try it again i think i have the perfect defense
i think at every given chance cupid got to shoot me he did
because it seemed in the end that i was the only one sharing emotions
at one point i felt like i was damaged beyond any form of repair
it was so bad i kept asking god to heal me in each of my morning devotions
it is hard to invest your time and patience into a relationship or someone
and in the end after you put in all the hard work they just walk out on you
i don't wanna be negative in my saying this or sharing my opinions now
but i have been searching for my true love and it hasn't come through
