Love Rules

Hold me close keep me safe.
Cherish me all your life.
Never let me walk away.
Not out of fear of what’s to come.

When I push the wall in place.
Push it back out of the way.
Scale whatever does not move.
Show me how not to run.

Be there when I awake.
Let the sun kiss my face.
When the rain falls keep me dry.
Embrace me holding me tight.

My heart belongs to you.
Treat it with delicate care.
I will keep you close to me.
My devotion will prove my love.

I will always love you.
As long as you will remember,
the beats that rule my heart,
they forever belong to you.
