Love Regardless

He didn't want me perfect, He doesn't expect,
He didn't say come to me when you're eventually at your best,
He saw all my imperfections, He accepted my flaws,
He said I'm here for you always scars and all,
The dream was so vivid as I rushed around,
My hair in a messy bun as I was cleaning the house,
He wrapped his arms around me from behind,
He said stop, I love you messy, I want you to be mine,
I woke up, and tried to understand,
why I was dreaming about this man,
And as I sat in prayer, God explained,
In a relationship with this man, you are one in the same,
So when you come together, you edify one another,
The love I place within you both builds and heals each other,
I stand in the middle, and this is also about me,
Because I love you regardless, can't you see?,
