Love Plea

Speak to me of love, my love,
while morning's dawn delays.
Speak the words you speak so well,
in sweet, familiar ways.

Do not resist the fire you feel.
Surrender to its flame.
Do not deny this pleading heart
that softly breathes your name.

Just one word, one warm embrace--
one kiss--I ask no more.
Come to my arms and fill my life
with the love I'm dying for.
